What Stands Out at Sol Psychology

Structured Group

Supervision

Weekly supervision with a clear, consistent format. Engage in case consultation, clinical discussion, and applied learning.

Structured Training

Weekly group supervision (90 minutes) is divided into two parts:

1. Didactic Training & Skill Development
Each week includes a rotating focus to support well-rounded clinical growth:

  • Clinical interventions (various psychological topics)

  • Theoretical approaches (ACT, psychodynamic, somatic, PAC, Rhoads ART)

  • Research and evidence-based practice

  • Practice management (marketing, caseload building, documentation, insurance panels)

2. Case Consultation & Group Process

  • Case consultation and conceptualization

  • Crossover support on questions individual supervision

  • Intake and diagnostic support

  • Clinical challenges and stuck points

  • Process-oriented discussion

Collaborative Supervision

A collaborative space where learning happens through discussion, reflection, and shared clinical thinking. We actively use group process, therapist experience, and relational dynamics to deepen understanding, not just solve problems.

Case Consultation & Clinical Application

Apply what you’re learning directly to your clinical work. This portion of supervision focuses on case consultation, conceptualization, intake planning, and working through clinical challenges in real time.

Across all discussion, we use a consistent clinical lens, including:

  • The therapeutic relationship as a core tool

  • Ethical awareness and decision-making

  • Cultural humility and responsiveness

  • Strong case conceptualization and diagnostic thinking

  • Attunement to process (e.g., countertransference, relational dynamics)

  • Awareness of client context (family, cultural, and systemic influences)

  • Risk assessment and clinical decision-making

These are not treated as separate topics, but are woven into how we understand each client, their context, and the systems they are navigating.

Mentorship

Ongoing support to help you think more clearly and grow your clinical voice.
A encouraging space to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn.

Individual Supervision

Regular individual supervision provides space for deeper clinical exploration, personalized feedback, and support around your specific cases and growth areas.

This is also a space to process challenges, build confidence in your clinical decisions, and receive guidance tailored to your development as a clinician.

We intentionally integrate your personal experiences and cultural background into the work, supporting you in developing an authentic and grounded clinical voice.

Professional Development & Guidance

Support beyond clinical work, including building a caseload, navigating insurance panels, documentation, and developing your professional identity.

We also support you in identifying your niche and areas of passion, building a personal brand, and exploring opportunities for growth such as speaking, podcasting, and developing your own groups or programs.

Hands-On Training

Participate in the founding Rhoads ART cohort.
Learn through direct experience—not just theory.

Experiential Learning

Training goes beyond traditional talk-based learning.

You will actively engage in experiential practices, including role-play, guided exercises, and applied interventions.

These experiences are a core part of training. Clinical skill develops through participating in the work, not just observing it.

Application to Clinical Work

Experiential work is always connected back to clinical application.

You will learn how to thoughtfully integrate these approaches into your work with clients, with attention to timing, fit, and clinical judgment.

You will also have opportunities to practice guiding interventions as part of your development.

Integration & Clinical Judgment

Experiential work is always grounded in thoughtful clinical use. You will develop judgment around when and how to use these approaches, with attention to timing, client readiness, and overall fit.

Inside the Work

This is where depth is built through experience, reflection, and real clinical application.

Rhoads ART

Learn the Rhoads Activation & Resilience Training model through direct experience and application.

PAC Model

A Thoughtful, Growth-Oriented Space

This isn’t just supervision, it’s a space to slow down, think deeply, and grow your clinical voice.

You’ll bring real cases, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and learn how to work at a deeper level.

We focus on depth, presence, and developing your own way of showing up, so you leave sessions feeling clearer, more grounded, and more confident in your decisions.

Who This is For

This space is designed for Psychological Associates and AMFTs who are ready to deepen their clinical work and develop their own voice.

Depth

You have some clinical experience and feel ready to move beyond surface-level work into more meaningful, attuned, and impactful sessions.
